APPLICATION FOR PUBLIC HOUSING:

This online PRE-APPLICATION is the first step to applying for public housing. Once you have completed this application, the Occupancy Department will send you a letter stating that you need to plan to come in for an interview and complete the full Application for Public Housing. Interviews are held on Tuesdays from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm only.

Once you have finished the application and in-person interview, you must wait four (4) weeks before calling to check on the status of your application if you have not heard back from us at that time, you may call our office and leave a message.

Be sure you leave a good phone number where you can be reached during those times. You may leave ONE MESSAGE on either voice mail box but please do not call the other extension or leave duplicate messages. Please allow up to 24 hours for a return phone call from us.

Office Hours:

We are open Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. The office is closed on Fridays.

Before you come in for your in-person interview, you should bring an ID, birth certificate, and  Social Security card for all household members. You should also be prepared to show proper documentation regarding the amount of income, assets and expenses for each household member.
