Become an HACG Landlord
Have a rental property in the Goldsboro/Wayne County area? HACG is looking for landlords who are interested in partnering with us through the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
The program helps families find stable housing while helping landlords receive consistent monthly rental payments. Many property owners enjoy the flexibility of the program and the opportunity to keep their units occupied with qualified tenants searching for housing in our community.
Why landlords participate
• HACG pays a portion of the rent directly to the landlord each month
• You still choose who you rent to using your normal screening process
• There is ongoing demand for rental units from voucher holders
• HACG works with both landlords and tenants throughout the process
• Units are inspected to help ensure housing standards are met
How it works
Families approved for the Housing Choice Voucher Program search for a rental unit that fits their needs. Once a landlord agrees to rent the unit, HACG reviews the rent amount and completes a housing inspection. After approval, payments can begin once all paperwork is completed.
What landlords provide
Landlords participating in the program agree to provide housing that is safe and in good condition while following the lease and program requirements.
