Ribbon Cutting Set for West Oak Pocket Park

The Housing Authority of the City of Goldsboro invites the community to join us for the West Oak Pocket Park Ribbon Cutting on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.

Located adjacent to the Goldsboro Wayne Transportation Authority (GWTA) Bus Station on North Carolina Street, the West Oak Pocket Park is one of the first completed projects of the West Oak Choice Neighborhood Initiative. The new space reflects the community's shared vision for a more connected, welcoming neighborhood and represents another step forward in the ongoing revitalization of West Oak.

Community members, residents, elected officials, and project partners are invited to celebrate this milestone as we officially open the park and recognize the partnerships that helped make it possible.
