HACG Awards Scholarships to Outstanding Students
The Housing Authority of the City of Goldsboro (HACG) is proud to recognize three exceptional students who have been awarded 2026 scholarships. Each recipient maintained a GPA of 4.0 or higher while demonstrating leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to academic excellence.
Charlie Thomas, a student at Eastern Wayne High School, received a $4,000 scholarship and will attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he plans to major in Finance.
Taneisha Johnson, a student at Goldsboro High School, received a $4,000 scholarship and will attend Winston-Salem State University, where she plans to major in Nursing.
Aziyah Boyer, a student at Goldsboro High School, received a $4,000 Community Scholarship and will attend North Carolina A&T State University, where she plans to major in Criminal Justice.
HACG congratulates these outstanding students on their achievements and wishes them continued success as they begin this exciting new chapter.
