Notice of Waiting List Closure

The Housing Authority of the City of Goldsboro (HACG) announces that the Public Housing Community-Wide and Site-Based waiting lists will close on December 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

There are currently over 7,000 applicants on these waiting lists.

Individuals interested in applying for placement on the waiting list must submit an application online at: https://myportal.hacg.org/ 

Applications will be accepted at any time before the closure date and time listed above.

The waiting lists will remain closed until the number of applicants is fewer than the number HACG can serve within a twelve (12) month period. Once this threshold is met, HACG will advertise the re-opening of the waiting lists.
